Rules of using library resources during the pandemic

Please be informed that it is possible to borrow publications from the library under the following conditions:

  • Searching in the on-line catalogue- https://poznan-wshig.sowa.pl/ for publications from the library;
  • Sending selected items (author, title) by e-mail to the library address -biblioteka@wshig.poznan.pl
  • Prior notification by e-mail or phone of the proposed date of the visit and collection of the publications. After receiving a confirmation, you may visit on the date indicated;
  • Please bring your library card as well as your student ID card;
  • During your visit to the Library you must comply with all safety rules regarding "Coronavirus" - protective mask, distance, etc.
About the library
  • Collections are placed on shelves alphabetically according to fields of science with free access to shelves.
  • The size of the book collection exceeds 18 000 volumes
  • Specialist magazines: 135 titles, including 5 foreign ones. Number of titles of current periodicals 47.
  • The book collection includes mainly such areas as: tourism, recreation, hotel industry, catering, food technology and nutrition, economics, logistics, marketing, accounting, management, computer science, foreign languages
  • Informatics program: Integrated library management system SowaSQL Premium
  • The library is accessible for people with disabilities.
