Academy Opened for Foreigners
The WSHiG program includes didactic paths dedicated to foreign students. Foreigners can count on the Academy's support in arranging formalities, looking for accommodation or opening a bank account. We also organize Polish language classes for foreign students and help them acclimate to their new environment. Students from outside Poland can also take advantage of a wide range of internships and placements abroad or the Erasmus+ program.
International Experience
During the first year of studies (after completing the first semester), WSHiG students can participate in internships abroad. International experience gained this way significantly affects the attractiveness of the candidate's professional profile and, in the long run, makes it easier to find a well-paid job. Internships and work placements are also a good way to earn extra money while studying.
Erasmus+
WSHiG students can take part in the Erasmus+ program, which allows to study at a foreign university. Participation in this project is a great opportunity to improve knowledge of foreign languages, gain confidence in your abilities and learn independence, as well as learn about new cultures. Due to Erasmus+, you can combine your studies abroad with an internship, which is funded by the European Union. The offer is open to undergraduate and graduate students of any nationality.
Foreign Language Learning
We realize how important knowledge of foreign languages is in the hotel, catering and tourism industry, so we put great emphasis on learning foreign languages. Our graduates are fluent in at least two foreign languages and can use sign language. Language classes, apart from practical skills and specialist knowledge, are an important part of the curriculum of all WSHiG specializations.
